    I'm David Ausman and for the last 25 years, I have been living a dream.  I live in a sportsman's paradise!  I make my living giving people a wilderness experience far beyond the ordinary.  I've watched most of my clients catch the biggest fish of their lives.  I've helped most of my clients catch more fish in one day than they ever caught on any other fishing trip they've ever taken.  I have guided first place in more Alaskan fishing derbies than any man in Alaskan history.  I even rode on the back of a 35 foot humpback whale in scuba gear to save its life after it tangled in a 500 foot rope - and I have digital videotape to prove it.

    Would you like to catch that big Halibut?  The lodge record is 350 pounds.  We've had 4 on that were bigger - two of them were potential world records!  The largest King Salmon caught at Gold Coast was 73 pounds, chrome bright and incredible.  Our Ling Cod record stands at 60 pounds, most of it mouth and teeth!  The largest Yellow eye Rockfish here was 29 pounds.  We have caught all 5 species of Pacific Salmon in the same day!  Having done this in the same place, year after year, I know how to put you on the fish.  Call me today and you will be living the dream this summer.  See you here with fish on your rod and a smile on your face.

There's no place
Like home,
Where the ocean's mom,
Comes up the beach
In a graceful way,
That's in a way unexplainable for you.
Lying on the sandy beach,
With a dreamy look
On your face,
Watching the pace,
Of the ocean's own way.
There's no place,
Like home.
Where the waves come in,
At a steady pace,
